I'm Mike — I lift, love music, and play with tech. I've spent a decade teaching and building learning programs across four countries, and somewhere along the way the teaching turned into designing learning systems and the playing-with-tech turned into a career: I now work in AI literacy and enablement, designing programs that build real judgment about these tools and, when the design calls for it, the platforms they run on.

This site is my writing and my work in one place. The writing is occasional and long-form — life, learning, research, and technology, with a running thread about what AI is doing to education and to the craft of building learning. The projects are case studies of shipped work. The views here are my own.
